A short walk to the centre of town. Beautiful town house feel with pool. Very helpful staff. Rooms very large with safe, nice sized bathroom, good furniture.
What a lovely hotel! I only stayed one night, but it was after traveling through Mexico that this seemed like a treat! The area was so quiet that I kept the window open all night. The rooms and bathroom were huge! I loved all the plants in the center surrounding the pool. Everything was super close by, and I really loved the vibe of the city.
Really lovely botique hotel: peaceful courtyard with a small refreshing swimming pool, quiet and very well looked after. Room was very spacious, clean with super shower and large comfy beds. Staff were very helpful and polite. We had a car so car park on site as well as additional option to park a block away was very convenient. Superb location, too - just a few minutes from a hussle and bussel of the main square and the monastery. There is no food or coffee provision at the hotel / room, bet there are quite a few great breakfast options few minutes away. Thank you for having us!!
Very nice location with a typical Mexican atmosphere and beautiful architecture. The staff are also very nice and friendly, which made our experience just amazing in Valladolid .
The hotel is quite new, rooms are in very good condition, large and all the services that are required. Central courtyard garden around the swimming pool is very nice. Swimming pool quite small but useful especially for kids. Sometimes the room was a bit noisy from the corridors or next door room. Distance from main square less than 10 min walk. Raccomanded!!!
We spent 6 nights here. Place was spotless. We had a junior suite which was large, mini fridge, microwave coffeemaker. A 6 minute walk to the main square, great location, nice pool, romantic hotel.

Hotel Fundadores is a wonderful place. I was surprised to see some mediocre reviews. It's a very well-maintained, clean, and quiet hotel, with a beautiful courtyard, spacious rooms, and nice bathrooms. They are staffed twenty-four hours a day, and will tend to all your needs. If something isn't working, they will fix it immediately. It's true that they don't serve breakfast, but there are many options within 1-3 minutes on foot. We checked out a few places before settling on Marimbos, a breakfast place, only a block away.

TLDR: Good rooms, large clean bathrooms. Nice pool area. Lots of kids/families here. Overall would recommend, I stayed here 2 nights. Parking available, front desk staff were very nice, good location walkable to the central square and good restaurants. Nothing too fancy but a good value for the price.
